This service is ideal for clients who simply want a clean, refreshed scalp and hair without styling. Your hair will be shampooed twice, followed by a conditioning treatment. Once rinsed, your hair and scalp will be oiled before you sit under the dryer until completely dry. Once finished, you’ll be checked out and ready to go. Styling is not included with this service. Clients may also receive this service while wearing two-strand twists.

$5.00 deposit required

This treatment is ideal for dry, itchy scalps. After a thorough wash, I’ll apply a soothing conditioner, then you’ll relax under a dryer for 20 minutes. After rinsing, your hair will be styled (if included in appointment selections). This service can be booked alone.

$10.00 deposit required

This treatment cleanses your locs, removing buildup from products, sweat, dirt, and sand (but not lint). Your locs are soaked in a detox blend of lemon juice, baking soda, vinegar, water, and shampoo. The service lasts 45 minutes to an hour, depending on buildup severity. Deep conditioning treatment included.

If your preferred date or time is unavailable, you may reach out to Naiya via text at 704-665-9869. Please include the exact date, time, and services you would like to book, and allow up to 24 hours for a response. If approved, Naiya will open the requested time slot on the booking site, giving you 4 hours to secure your appointment.

This service includes a shampoo wash, conditioning treatment, and two-strand twist style for returning clients with fewer than 120 locs. Locs cannot exceed shoulder length. To qualify for this special, clients must have received a service from me within the previous 5 weeks. This service is available on Mondays only.

This service includes a wash, loc detox, deep conditioning treatment, retwist, and two-strand twist style for returning clients with fewer than 130 locs. To qualify for this special, clients must have been serviced by me within the previous 7–8 weeks. The style included with this service is two-strand twists only; loc bob styles are not included. This service is available on Wednesdays only.

This service is for clients who want a retwist with no style. PALM ROLL RETWIST ONLY. A wash and conditioning treatment are included with your appointment. After your hair is retwisted and secured with clips, you will sit under the dryer for up to 45 minutes to allow your hair to dry. Due to the nature of my single-person salon suite, dryer time cannot be extended beyond 45 minutes. If you would like a detox or deep conditioning treatment, please add the desired service to your appointment. If you would like your locs styled, please visit the RETWIST & STYLE category. CLIENT CAN NOT HAVE MORE THAN 120 LOCS. CLIENT MUST BE 18+.

This service is for returning clients who were styled by Naiya Smith within the past 7–8 weeks. It includes a wash, conditioning treatment, palm roll retwist (no interlocking), and a simple style such as two-strand twists, buns, or barrels. For other styles, please contact Naiya beforehand to confirm availability. Marley hair is not included; if you would like Marley hair added, please book the Retwist + Marley Hair service. Locs must be detangled at the roots before your appointment.

This consultation is for clients interested in booking a 7-8 week loc retwist or Marley twists over locs. In-person consultations are required for the 7-8 week loc retwist so I can assess your hair’s texture. Marley twist consultations can be done via FaceTime or in person. Please note, the cost of the consultation does not go toward your next appointment. During our consultation, we’ll determine if I’m the best stylist to help achieve your hair goals. For new clients with fewer than 120 locs. This service includes a wash, conditioning treatment, palm roll retwist (no interlocking), and a style such as two-strand twists, buns, or barrels. For other styles, please send photos for approval before booking. Locs must be detangled at the roots before your appointment. Must be 18+.

You must get a retwist with this service, so that we can truly see your length. After drying, I will take out your clips. We will go to the mirror and I will ask you to show me where you want your locs cut. I will cut one loc and ask you to confirm the length. Once confirmed, I will cut the remainder. You must sit up/ stand straight during the entire cut to ensure that the locs are the exact length you would like. Please be confident that you want a cut; I do not reattach locs. Also, be aware that I do not cut layers or bangs. This service is only for loc trimming/ a blunt cut.

Clients must be approved before booking—please text first. This service is for clients wanting to extend their length for styles like: flat twists in front with two-strand Marley twists in back, barrel ponytails with extended twists, Mohawks with extended twist in the middle, petal buns, etc. Be sure to send me a picture of your desired book. Clients must purchase 3-4 packs of “Model Model Cuban Twist” hair and bring it to their hair appointment. CONSULTATION REQUIRED. This service is best for people who locs are skinny/ 2 yrs or less so braiding hair blends with braiding hair. Less than 121 locs. Clients must purchase 4-5 packs of “Model Model Cuban Twist Mojito Twist Braid” 12 inch hair for this service. With this service comes a wash, deep conditioning treatment, and hot oil treatment, followed by expert twisting to create a stunning Marley twist effect. LOCS MUST BE DETANGLED AT THE ROOTS.

Consultations are mandatory before booking your starter loc appt. Please come with your hair in its natural state. Consultations can be done in-person or via FaceTime for your convenience. The consultation fee does not go towards the total cost of your starter loc appointment. No loc extensions, sisterlocs, micro, inter, or instant. !No forced middle parts! (I follow the natural grid) Only traditional locs (2strand and coils) 18 AND UP ONLY.
