This consultation is for clients interested in booking a 7-8 week loc retwist or Marley twists over locs. In-person consultations are required for the 7-8 week loc retwist so I can assess your hair’s texture. Marley twist consultations can be done via FaceTime or in person. Please note, the cost of the consultation does not go toward your next appointment. During our consultation, we’ll determine if I’m the best stylist to help achieve your hair goals. This service is MANDATORY for kids with locs or wanting to start locs. The child must be at least 5 years old and at the most 17 years old. The consultation can be done in person or via FaceTime. For 10 minutes, the guardian and I will converse. After 10 minutes, I will talk with the child to discuss their hair goals. Please allow your child to express themselves. Also please have the child’s hair in their natural state.

Our deep cleaning service is ideal for clients dealing with dandruff build-up or dirt accumulation within the past five weeks. Your hair will be washed with regular shampoo, followed by a scalp scrub to remove any residue. If there’s any unpleasant odor, locs will receive a specialized loc bath for a fresh, clean feel. This treatment is designed to thoroughly cleanse and rejuvenate your scalp and hair. If interested in a retwist or retwist/ style BE SURE to add it on.

This treatment cleanses your locs, removing buildup from products, sweat, dirt, and sand (but not lint). Your locs are soaked in a detox blend of lemon juice, baking soda, vinegar, water, and shampoo. The service lasts 45 minutes to an hour, depending on buildup severity. Deep conditioning treatment included.

This treatment is ideal for dry, itchy scalps. After a thorough wash, I’ll apply a soothing conditioner, then you’ll relax under a dryer for 15 minutes. After rinsing, your hair will be styled (if included in appointment selections). This service can be booked alone.

You must get a retwist with this service, so that we can truly see your length. After drying, I will take out your clips. We will go to the mirror and I will ask you to show me where you want your locs cut. I will cut one loc and ask you to confirm the length. Once confirmed, I will cut the remainder. You must sit up/ stand straight during the entire cut to ensure that the locs are the exact length you would like. Please be confident that you want a cut; I do not reattach locs. Also, be aware that I do not cut layers or bangs. This service is only for loc trimming/ a blunt cut.

A consultation is required before booking a loc removal service. This must be done in person so I can see and feel your locs to create the best plan for your removal. Locs must not be past your shoulders. If they are, additional sessions will be needed. Please note that this consultation has its own fee and the cost does not go toward the full removal service.

In this gentle, hands-on session, I’ll walk you through how to safely and patiently comb out your locs—no matter how long you’ve had them. We’ll work together to remove a few locs so you can feel confident continuing the process at home. This class is all about learning technique, care, and trust in the takedown journey. A loc removal consultation is required before booking this service.

Loc removal is a gentle, detailed process that takes time and patience. Each session lasts up to 3 hours and is $300. During that time, I typically remove about 12 locs with care and precision. On average, 60 locs may take around 5 sessions, while 120 locs (the maximum) can take about 10 sessions. Because this process is so delicate, only one 3-hour session can be booked per day. A consultation is required before booking so we can create a personalized plan for your takedown journey.
